Studio / gallery

A room for work.

Tables, daylight, paper, paint, and the gentle evidence of people making things.

Pigment Lane occupies a street-level room just inside Bologna’s historic centre. The studio is deliberately modest: long shared tables, washable walls, clipboards, an evolving shelf of objects, and enough open space to step back from a drawing. We keep the atmosphere practical rather than precious.

Between classes, the walls hold selected studies by our participants and tutors. It is not a formal gallery programme; it is a changing record of looking. You may see an early charcoal study beside a bright colour exercise, or a series of small works that became more confident over several weeks.

Visitors are welcome during opening hours when a class is not in session. If you would like to see the space before enrolling, call ahead and we will let you know the quietest time to come by.
